About Lezlie

Redding, California has been Lezlie's home since 1965. She received
her B.A. in Liberal Arts in 1982 from California State University,
Chico, then at the age of thirty-two, tragedy struck.
Through my grief, writing brought comfort and healing. During the
next eight years, I attended conferences, seminars, and writing
workshops in order to hone my writing skills.
When I Cried Out was the result.
I realized finding the right publishing house is like fitting
shoes to feet, and in June 2007, I met my publisher, Morgan Fisher,
a perfect fit. When I Cried Out has been a process
well worth the wait.
Over the years, Lezlie has written and published articles, short
pieces of poetry, and essays. Since finishing her book, her spare
time is spent pursuing her love of speaking while carving out time
to work on a novel.
Currently teaching fulltime at Bethel Christian School, her
fourth grade students, her sixteen-year-old son, Michael, and their
Siberian Husky, Saber, keep her young at heart.
